Once families started lining up alongside homeless men for the soup line it was apparent something had to be done. In 1992 Family Services assisted an average of 40 families a week. Today, between 600 and 1000 families count on Welcome Hall Mission?s help each week.

Whether they come for food, clothing, household items, toys for their children or for help finding work, an apartment or affordable day care?they know they will be able to sit down, have a cup of coffee and talk to someone who is willing to listen.
