Since after the earth quake, the Eben-Ezer Hospital has received a number of helpers from several countries. We took this opportunity to fix the water system at our facility. We succeeded in the fact that current water has been reestablished in the taps inside the building. But the water is still not good to drink, which reduces its use considerably. We still have to get water from another source in order to provide drinking water to the patients, both in-patients and out-patients.
In order to help us serve our patients, we would need a water purification system at our facility. Once we have identified a donor for this, we could organize inland transportation to get it to our place in Gonaives. We are also working on fixing the airstrip which is on the mission property and would be even more convenient. It would be a joy to receive and accommodate people coming to install the system.
