We are pleased to provide you with information about the application process for the Rotary Biomedical Equipment Repair Training Program. The application form is attached/enclosed.

VENUE

Hopital Bienfaisance – Pignon, Haiti

CLASS SCHEDULE 2012-2013

Participants are required to attend all sessions in entirety, with no exceptions made. We will have a 2 week session for the new entering class and a separate 2 week session for the students who have just completed Year 1 in the program. Final dates to be published soon.

Session 1 Late August – through September 2012

Session 2 Mid October – Mid November 2012

Session 3 Mid February – Mid March 2013

Session 4 Mid April – Mid May 2013

Session 1 is on BP apparatus, suction pumps and dry and moist heat sterilizers.

Session 2 is on oxygen equipment including cylinder safety, regulators, flow meters, oxygen concentrators, anesthesia machines Session 3 is on clinical laboratory equipment.

Session 4 is on cardiac equipment.

LODGING AND FOOD

Participants will be provided lodging and meals in a dormitory facility very near the hospital at no expense to the students.
