Skilled Volunteers Needed
As the reconstruction in the hurricane-affected areas continues, the need for large quantities of less-skilled volunteers is decreasing as a reflection of the specific work being done. If you have a background in construction, construction management, or a particular trade, your help is needed.
Skilled volunteers can serve as construction supervisors, coordinators, assessors, and crew leaders. Skilled volunteers who can stay for up to a month or longer are especially needed. Trade workers, such as plumbers, electricians, roofers, finishers, etc., are also in high demand.
If you have a construction or trade background and are interested in doing some volunteering, please fill out the Volunteer Sign-Up form (at website below) and list your specific skills to be placed at a location along the Gulf Coast. Thanks!
