3. The Kitten Fostering Program - we began this program in April 2001 to give shelter kittens younger than six weeks old a chance to reach adoptable age by being fostered in the homes of volunteers. This minimizes their exposure to disease and provides the care and nurturing they need to become loving companions. To date, 1002 felines have graduated from our Kitten Fostering Program to be placed in loving homes.
