24-Hour Crisis Line - (818) 887-6589
The Haven Hills Crisis Line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is always staffed by certified domestic violence counselors. The crisis line offers:
Crisis intervention services and needs assessment
Intake to residential and/or non-residential services
Immediate connection to law enforcement and/or medical services
Advocacy, support and information about resources
Education and increased understanding of abusive relationships
Emotional support
In 2005 the Crisis Line received:
3,613 calls from battered women
4,928 calls on behalf of battered women or for information
TDD for hearing impaired and Spanish-speaking staff available.
