AIM for Seva believes that providing women with a source of sustainable livelihood will lead to their economic well being. When women are economically independent, the welfare of the entire community including children improves greatly. It is well documented that the large portion of women's income goes into providing education for children, providing health care, and on other essential needs for the entire family and hence, leads to overall community development and economic growth. Hence, making women economically independent goes a long way in sustainable development.
In order to assist women, AIM for Seva has designed and implemented several programs working toward womens economic self-sufficiency, and enhancing their skills through training. Our main programs in this field include:
* Training and employing women for handicraft making
* Initiating Womens self help Groups
* Making available micro-finance for women workers and entreprenuers.
