Donate Food and/or Organize a Food Drive: You don't have to make a large donation to make a difference!
Any non-perishable food item you donate will be appreciated and very much needed. Canned meats, fish, vegetables and fruits, pasta and rice, cereals and grains, dried beans, and powdered milk are in great demand. In the last several years, food donations from local retailers have decreased dramatically because of the growth of discount grocery stores. Increasingly, we must depend on the community's generosity to meet basic needs.

2007 Food Bank Holiday Food & Fund Drive
This annual effort collects food for distribution at emergency food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, youth groups, and for direct distribution to persons with disabilities, seniors and low-income families.
The 2007 Food Bank for Monterey County Annual Food Drive will begin October 15th and last through the end of the year. Donation bins for canned goods will be placed throughout the community, including at all libraries and fire stations.
You can participate at any time during the Holiday Food Drive – for one day, one week, or for the entire Holiday Food Drive period of three months. Call us at 758-1523 if you would like to host a barrel for us.
