Consciously Rebuilding is hosting a free community workshop on May 31 11am-1pm at 2105 S. Liberty St. The goal of the workshop is to introduce community members to the concepts of environmental health, sustainability, emergency preparedness, and PTSD. In addition, we plan on having a resource booth with organizational materials that further address the environmental, social, rebuilding, etc. issues of New Orleans. We are establishing ourselves as a resource hub, linking much needed resources and program-providers to those who need them. The workshop is a perfect opportunity to form these lasting relationships.
Volunteers are needed on the day of the workshop to help set-up and clean-up. Also we need volunteers to help with the organizing and publicity as we lead up to the actual day.
