Seize this life changing opportunity to make a Buddy! This opportunity is with a non-profit organization dedicated to providing one-to-one friendships for people with intellectual disabilities. Volunteers have the special chance to go on outings with their Buddies and participate in fun group events from bowling to karaoke to professional sporting events to amusement park excursions and much more! We have a long wait list of remarkable children, men and women with disabilities, many of whom have been waiting for a friend like you for more than a year. The time commitment is small, the rewards are immense, and no experience is necessary. The next friend you make could be your Best Buddy! Volunteers commit to spending time with their Buddy twice every month, and to staying in touch by phone or email on a weekly basis.
