Notes
From the website:
It is the mission of Shelter to end homelessness in the
lives of individuals and families by providing housing
options and effective supportive services while promoting
policy and practices necessary to change those conditions
that create homelessness.
The Cambridge Shelter provides emergency shelter, food,
clothing and case management services to homeless
individuals. Following an initial 3-day period,
clients may apply for an extended stay to concentrate
on setting and achieving individual goals leading to
next-step appropriate housing and, if needed, continuing
supportive services; capacity of 21 – 15 men and 6
women each night.
Women's Drop-In is a daytime program offering a safe haven,
nutritious meals, clothing, counseling, skills development,
referrals and a community of support to homeless women.
Located in the Cambridge Shelter, Women's Drop-In serves
almost 2,500 meals per year and has empowered many women
to make positive changes in their lives.
