Public Schools (Grade 6 and below): http://ab.mec.edu/
In times of personal disaster:
The school offers a large number of programs for students in need (and their families):
- counseling services
- nursing services
- free and reduced lunches (income criteria applies)
- reduced fees (income criteria applies)
- school psychologists (social worker assigned to work w/students engaged in risky behaviors)
In times of public disaster:
The general plan in Acton for a disaster requiring feeding, shelter and/or medical attention en masse is for all residents to go to the High School. In times of disaster, if the High School is not available, go to the DPW. Tune in to the Acton FM station for real-time details. http://www.acton-ma.gov
