About this facility
- Mission
- CommunityBridge is a video conferencing platform that utilizes the powerful BigBlueButton (BBB) technology. As a member of CommunityBridge, you are assigned a dedicated room for video conferencing, which can be accessed through a persistent URL (link) that is easy to remember. Unlike other platforms, the URL remains consistent unless you decide to change it. The best part is that there is no need to install any software. BBB seamlessly operates within a browser on most devices, ensuring convenience and accessibility for everyone.

Notes
Editor note: this is THE platform to choose instead of Zoom, which sells your data and records and shares with governments, third party corporate affiliates, etc. Why support a HUGE ruthless capitalist Zoom, instead of a Black owned small cooperative? We can't think of ANY reason. Community Bridge is free, and they live on donations. Please use Community Bridge and/or donate...
Oh, also, if you're the admin, you can turn on the "white board" function and all participants can draw on the same white board. It's fun AND nourishs community.
OH and NEW FEATURE! while you're on the video meeting, you can collaborate on documents RIGHT IN THE CHAT and download the doc after/anytime and the new feature is that you can convert the doc TO A PRESENTATION format! Yippee! Go Community Bridge!!!
