Authorities have expanded the mandatory evacuation zone for the Hughes Fire to all neighborhoods surrounding Castaic Lake.
An evacuation center was established at the Westwood Recreation Center, 1350 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles County officials said.
Large animals were being accepted at the LA Equestrian Center Large Animal Shelter, 480 Riverside Drive in Burbank, as well as at the Pierce College Equestrian Center, 6201 Winnetka Ave. in Woodland Hills.
