About this facility
- Mission
- Austin Mutual Aid is a grassroots organization whose mission is to empower and sustain vibrant, joyful, resilient communities. We do this by prioritizing the power of long-term, two-way relationships of exchange. We believe in the principles of solidarity, mutual aid, and autonomous direct action. By working with, listening to, and seeking leadership from impacted communities, especially the most vulnerable and historically underserved members, we build long-term, sustainable communities that can weather any storm.

notes
In partnership with St. Andrew’s - A weekly program on Thursday nights 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM that provides an opportunity to shower and enjoy a hot meal for neighbors from the surrounding area who may not have access to this necessity of life. A light laundry service is provided while these neighbors shower and relax. This is a time for the community to rest and socialize in a safe area as a respite from the outside environment. An Austin Mutual Aid team member will be onsite as capacity allows.
