Walton County Chamber Implements its ?Chamber Cares? Program
Release Date: Monday, March 05, 2007
The Walton County Chamber is implementing its "Chamber Cares"
program to assist the Enterprise Alabama Tornado Disaster
Relief to benefit storm victims. The program, which will begin
today (March 5), is an easy, convenient way for our members and
their customers to help victims impacted by the tornadoes.
The purpose of the Chamber Cares program is to provide an
avenue for our members and their customers to unite in support
of a common cause. This is a program that was enacted in 2005
with the Tsunami Disaster Relief in Asia and we were successful
with it, in raising over $3,000 for those victims.
Chamber members and their customers can help their neighbors
in Alabama by simply donating items such as baby supplies,
blankets, batteries, radios, food, water or anything else that
those people affected might need. Monetary donations will also
be accepted.
If you would like to donate any items, you can drop them off
at the Chamber office in Santa Rosa Beach or in DeFuniak Springs.
If you need someone to come by and pick up your donation, please
contact us at (850) 267-0683 or (850) 892-3191.
