- Via call to Pastor Roberts 3/13/07: Coordinates with Lutheran Church locally & just received 18 wheeler from Church of Christ with a load of dried foods
Notes
(Update via call to Pastor Roberts 3/13/07)
Transportation provided for elderly/special needs folks to
get to appt.'s.
Just received 18 wheeler loaded with dried food goods from
Church of Christ. Anyone affected by the recent Tornado can
get free food and clothing.
Any residents needing supplies such as water, MRE’s, tarps, baby
items, and non-perishable food items need to go to the distribution
center located on Boll Weevil Circle in front of JC Penney.
Currently coordinating with the Lutheran Church and have a team of
volunteers that will be conducting Debris Removal this weekend
(3/17/07). Volunteers will take care of their own housing needs and
the church will assist with that coordination if needed
Still focused on 1st Response needs but ultimately will be involved
in Long Term Recovery and rebuilding for residents affected by the
March '07 Tornado that are without insurance.
