Updated info:
We were just there in May...and they are totally cranking. We saw 5 new homes that this crew has helped build. Excellent work! Their team includes the Mennenites (sp?) and the Rotary Club. Good teamwork! I'm pretty sure their tent city is up and operable...it looked like it. And they looked showered, although we neglected to ask about showers.
Old info:
Helps coordinate volunteers for chainsaw teams, debris removal, mucking out.
can find campsites. no showers, though. Adam reports that a FEMA tent city is being erected at 2nd and Fleitas, which will probably be available in 2 weeks. There are showers there.
