The Food Bank currently operates two warehouses:
* The Dudley warehouse at 239 S. Dudley St.
* The Heistan warehouse at 1269 Heistan Place
Both warehouses operate daily from 8:00 am. to 3:30 p.m.
The Food Bank is the only organization in the Mid-South, public or private, that collects and distributes wholesome food to any qualified not-for-profit agency that feeds needy people free of charge. The agencies pay a small handling fee, which averages nine cents per pound.
