Our Purpose
Our mission is to connect human service professionals and residents of the Merrimack Valley with information and resources to help them meet their needs. By centralizing this information on the web, we hope to eliminate the need for agencies to create in-house resource guides that take valuable staff time to create and quickly become outdated. Since MVHub.com's Community Services Directory is electronic, it can be easily kept up-to-date with minimum
expenditures of time and money. MVHub.com's Community Services Directory means better, more accurate information, available to more people, delivered in an efficient and effective way.
Who We Are
MVHub.com's Community Services Directory is a result of a collaborative effort between New Beginnings, The Greater Lowell Community Resource Collaborative, UMASS Lowell, The Lowell Police Department's Weed and Seed Program, and Lowell Telecommunications Corporation and its Community Software Lab. In addition, the redesign of the site has been made possible from a grant from the Annie E. Casey Foundation and donations from individuals. We have also received feedback and support from the Greater Lowell non-profit community.
