The Salvation Army would like to thank all the staff, volunteers, emergency aid workers and donors who gave of their time, talent and treasure toward hurricane relief efforts. Their generous spirit helped The Salvation Army extend a supporting hand to those in our community affected by the storm.

Gifts-In-Kind

When needed, The Salvation Army will request and accept both corporate and private in-kind donations in support of the disaster relief operation. Specific items needed will be identified based on the type of disaster. Bulk donations of a single product such as bottled water, personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and building materials may be accepted. All donations must be properly packaged, shrink-wrapped, on pallets, and labeled. Donors are asked to cover the cost of shipping in-kind donations to the receiving location. If you have a donation of bulk product you would like to contribute please contact your local Salvation Army, call Judith Rowland at 404-728-1356 or send information to judith_rowland@uss.salvationarmy.org

IN-KIND DONATIONS:

The Salvation Army ARC will gladly send one of our Red Shield trucks to pick up your donated items. To schedule a pick up, please call:

» Scheduling a Vehicle Donation
The Salvation Army ARC accepts donated vehicles, boats, trailers, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles.
To schedule a vehicle donation please call our Auto Donation office at 1-800-880-5707 x128 or 210-223-6877 ext. 128.

» ARC Special Needs
The Salvation Army ARC Red Shield trucks are available for large pick up items by calling 223-6877 or 1-800-880-5707 to schedule a special pickup.

» Other special needs include:
-Volunteer professional medical and dental care.
-Tickets to professional sporting events and other local special events will directly benefit the men in our program.
