North County Food Bank is a non-profit, charitable organization
dedicated to providing wholesome food to the hungry in the San
Diego County area. Their goal is ?NO HUNGRY NEIGHBORS?.
They also supply food and essential items to member agencies that
feed hungry people. Over 90,000 San Diego County residents were
served in 2002 by soup kitchens, shelters, emergency pantries,
and other assistance organizations through our ?Food to Non-profits
Program?
The North County Food Bank?s Board of Directors is comprised of
community members from varied backgrounds. Needed are corporate
leaders and food industry professionals to help govern and establish
policies to guide the North County Food Banks hunger relief programs.
