Bhoomika Trust was set up in February 2001 and its main focus is to support the educational and livelihood needs of underprivileged individuals. Bhoomika Trust has also been working extensively with victims of natural disasters like the earthquake in Gujarat and the tsunami in South India.
Their Goals are:
•Channel efforts into meaningful interventions that focus on underprivileged individuals
•During times of disaster, work with experts in the field of relief and rehabilitation, foster a spirit of public - private partnership and avoid duplication of efforts.
Focus areas
•Providing educational assistance to underprivileged students
•Providing livelihood support to needy individuals
•Providing/ coordinating relief and rehabilitation support during times of disaster
•Providing support to organizations working with the differently abled, the aged and mentally ill individuals
