Notes

June 2010: These folks appear (from their website) to be very active still in rebuilding NOLA:

Redeemer is hosting missions teams which are helping rebuild New Orleans. If your church would like to participate, please contact Ken Kostrzewa, Disaster Response Coordinator.

So far through Feb. 2010, mission teams hosted by Redeemer have gutted and/or rebuilt more than 350 homes in New Orleans. Redeemer has recruited, hosted, equipped, and supervised over 100 teams.

See their website for info on volunteering...or write to email above.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance said it "has taken steps to evacuate the Presbyterian Volunteer Villages in Louisiana and Mississippi" and that it "stands ready to respond to Hurricane Gustav."
