Multnomah County Health Department is improving its capacity to respond to public health emergencies by enhancing its agency response as well as its ability to work with partner agencies and elected officials. Many MCHD programs are involved. The Emergency Preparedness Program is the lead, and works closely with the Office of the Director, the Health Officer, Emergency Medical Services, Communicable Disease, and other programs and organizations.
