Notes
The Valley Center Pauma Unified School District closed the
Emergency Evacuation Shelter at the Valley Center High School
gymnasium on Friday at noon. The remaining displaced families
and children were initially removed to the Assistance Center
at Rancho Bernardo.
Motel vouchers were made available by Campesinos Unidos for families
who have not yet found temporary housing.
A new emergency shelter for the remaining displaced families will
open on Saturday, 11/3/07, at Bell Gardens on Cole Grade Road, operated
by the Red Cross.
Additional assistance, including applications for the Disaster Food
Stamp Program, is available at the Fallbrook Assistance Center on
431 Heald St off of Fallbrook St, between Stage Coach Lane and
Main Avenue.
