- As San Diego County continues to cope with the impact of the fires, Harrah's Rincon remains closed and may be closed through the weekend to all leisure and hotel activities to ensure the safety and security of its guests and employees. The resort has been used as an evacuation center and will continue to assist its community as the situation evolves. Harrah's Rincon will post further updates on this site.

# LA JOLLA RESERVATION MANDATORY EVACUATIONS - A mandatory evacuation notice has been issued as of 1:20 p.m. for people in the La Jolla Reservation area. People SHOULD NOT go to the Palomar Mountain Evacuation center. This fire, which was spotted across Highway 76 and established on the south face of Palomar Mountain at the base of Palomar Mountain, is now being referred to as the "POOMACHO FIRE" by CalFire. It is currently 20,000+ acres. Harrah's Casino is the evacuation center for residents in that area.
