Notes
Per call to Pastor Tate, any surplus foods/supplies have
been distributed to the community and they no longer
have excess donations to supply.
He wants to send a sincere thank you out to all the
grassroots and non-profits and individual citizens
who've made such an impact in their school and
community's recovery and stresses assistance is still
very much needed with "275,000 residents still displaced".
He encourages the database to keep going and very much
appreciates the service we've provided. He found us on
the web and believes in the work we are doing.
As relates to their school, all other needs previously listed
such as a large number of school desks, chalkboards, curriculum,
reading books, projectors, computers, and funding to purchase
their needs were all supplied by non profits and grassroots
groups and they received no assistance from government agencies.
Without this outpouring of aid and support Pastor Tate is certain
they would not be in operation their students/families and their
community. He is willing to testify to this if ever needed.
