Volunteer with Compassion First
Vernonia Outreach
Compassion First has partnered with Medical Teams International
(formerly Northwest Medical Teams) to help rebuild and restore
the community of Vernonia. If you are available and interested
in volunteering, following are the areas of immediate need
(Download the Volunteer Forms):
Field-based in Vernonia:
* Phase 1 – immediate need: Stabilization and gut outs
* Phase 2 – following stabilization: restoration and rebuilding
Office-based in Beaverton:
* Receptionist and light office work – 1/2 day to full day shifts
* Accountant and/or numbers-minded resource
Tools and Materials:
If you have a resource for tools or other rebuilding materials that
could be utilized for this relief effort, please contact Michael Do
via the information below.
Financial Support:
If you would like to provide financial support, checks should be
made payable to Compassion First and sent to the address below.
Funds will be utilized for field-based work such as fuel, volunteer incidentals and sustenance (food/water) and any tools or materials
unavailable via Medical Teams International or other relief sources.
