Update 1/21/08 LTel:

Pastor Slaton called me asking to be reconnected to the
storage container donor. He lost the message of the dealer
that called him that is in Reno. Thinks it might have been
a "Tim Pulitz" (he's not sure of last name).

So far, they are providing direct assistance to a few
families that have driven out the 30 miles from Fernley,
but are not currently providing any addition food deliveries
to other org's or churches.

I reminded Pastor Slaton that the donations for storage
containers are strictly for disaster relief efforts.

Per phone call to Pastor Paul Slaton 1/10/08:

They are assisting with Food Distribution in coordination
with Living Faith Church in Fernley for Flood Survivors.

On 1/9/08 he delivered 12 cases of mostly fresh dairy
products and some non-perishables.

They will continue to assist Fernley on an as needed basis.

They are the only Food Pantry in Fallon. Just approved by
the No. Nevada Food Bank.

They do not turn anyone away and don't have eligibility
requirements other than what the No. Nevada Food Bank
expects.

Pantry Operations Hours are:

Thursdays - 11:30 a.m. till everyone is served
Mondays & Fridays - 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Sundays after church services

Their current biggest need is:

A large stationary Refrigerated Unit for Pantry Operations

Ongoing needs are:

Perishable/Non Perishable Foods
