Company Profile
K.H.S. is a non-profit organization funded exclusively by donations and grants.
We receive numerous homeless animals everyday. We shelter, feed and provide medical care for these animals while searching for loving homes for them.
As a "no-kill" shelter, animals who are in our facility do not face a "be adopted quick or else" ultimatum, but rather are cared for until they can be placed. On rare occasions, if an animal is deemed vicious or is ill beyond our means to care for it, the animal may be euthanized.
Public Education
Description
We do educational presentations to schools, community and youth groups. If you are interested in having us come visit please call our Director of Development at 208-818-1633.
