Notes
6/5/08 UPDATE (Spoke to Brenda):
People in general seem to not be asking for help, and/or assistance/needs have been covered. Most folks have friends/family that they are staying with or have secured rental properties.
The new gas station (to replace the only one they had in town that was lost to the tornado) will be built in the next 6 weeks or so.
The lumber yard has started to rebuild.
No one has any outstanding urgent needs that she's heard of.
Animals appear to be covered.
No need for any urgent volunteer personnel.
NO MORE CLOTHING DONATIONS!!!! PLEASE!!!!
She knows of no one needing any storage units ("most have already secured them").
All distribution sites are open "M-Fri." (Bethel Lutheran Church, Civic Center, St. Patricks Catholic Church).
Brenda is happy to continue to provide updates to CAT in the following weeks and months as this community continues to traverse the recovery process.
