American Red Cross Disaster Relief Operation – Iowa Storms
UPDATED RED CROSS SERVICES
The American Red Cross continues on the scene in numerous areas of the state providing shelter, meals and snacks to families forced from their homes by flooding.
The Red Cross will announce changes and additions as situations warrant.
Red Cross shelters are open at:
Opening at 7:30 p.m. - Zion Lutheran Church, 201 1st Avenue, Hiawatha
NOW OPEN – Roosevelt Middle School, 300 13th Street NW, Cedar Rapids
NOW OPEN – Johnson County Fairgrounds, 4261 Oakcrest Hill Road SE, Building A, Iowa City (Please register by 10 p.m.)
NOW OPEN - Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School, 1002 G Avenue, Vinton
NOW OPEN – Cavalry Foresquare Church, 1100 N. Highway 38, Tipton (Please register by 10 p.m.)
Pets (with the exception of services animals) are not allowed in Red Cross shelters, please make arrangements ahead of time with the following partner agencies:
