This site is incredible. It's not been verified yet, so if anyone actually deals with these folks and have some feedback, please tell us.
From their site:
"In the aftermath of Hurricanes, this site connects workers needing jobs with employers who want to hire them. Individuals looking for work and the opportunity to rebuild their lives, either in hurricane impacted areas or in new locations, can connect with employers who are anxious to hire them, for either permanent jobs or for jobs that are focused on cleanup and recovery. Let us help you get connected!"
I checked it out and searched for Mississippi and found a lot of stuff, including paying gigs for carpenters. Not great pay, but check it out. There might be something there for you...!
