My Group understands we are responsible for delivery of items and communicating with the family. No Storage of items will be accepted at Marion FUMC. Family Size and Type will be matched to the best of our abilites. If you group accepts a family, then you must carry through on your intentions

LTel 7/13/08 Spoke to Melissa/Vol. Coordinator:

"We are housing volunteers in 7 different churches and two schools. To stay at our church it costs $20.00/day to cover lodging/food but for example, it only costs $10.00/day at St. Paul but it does not inlclude meals for volunteers.

Volunteers should bring their own bedding (ie. sleeping bags/pillows). You will be sleeping on a cot.

The minimum age of volunteers is 13 yrs. old. Kids 17 and under are restricted from working in basements.

Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation from the airport.

Each volunteer housing facility has showers available.

You must contact Melissa to coordinate your volunteer stay and receive your work orders no matter what location you'll be housed in as she is the coordinator.

We are coordinating the some of the volunteer efforts for the area of Cedar Rapids, Palo, and Olin. Currently, we have 234 homes and 4 United Methodist churches on the list to assist.
