Flood Relief
There are many needs that must be filled as a result of the recent flooding in our area. Among the many, the local food bank at the Crisis Center has put out the urgent request that they need donations of non-perishable food and hygiene supplies, now more than ever. Following is a list of the items that they need the most. Here is a list of products to bring for the Crisis Center Food Bank:
* Laundry detergent
* Toothpaste
* Toilet paper
* Canned fruit and vegetables
* Canned meat
* Canned soup
* Rice and pasta
* Peanut butter and jelly
* Juice (nonperishable)
* Shampoo
* Soap
* Bottled water
* Cereal
These items can be dropped off at the church’s collection box, and they will be brought to the Crisis Center. When those in our parish who were affected in their homes by the flood become aware of their needs, I will make those known as well.
