June 24, 2008 - WABASH VALLEY FLOOD VICTIMS NEED YOUR HELP - The onset of flooding over the weekend of June 6, 2008, along with additional flooding as area rivers continued their rise over flood stages has resulted in the need for assistance such as we have not seen in a long time. It now appears that the disaster relief operation being carried out by your local Wabash Valley Chapter will be the largest operation in the Chapter's history All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.

AMERICAN RED CROSS DISASTER RESPONSE UPDATE

INDIANAPOLIS, June 27, 2008 - Red Cross volunteers continue to provide emergency assistance to families affected by tornadoes and flooding in central and southern Indiana.

People needing Red Cross disaster assistance should call 1-866-GET-INFO.

Red Cross caseworkers continue to work with families to verify their specific disaster-caused needs and provide emergency assistance.
