SERVES: Pascagoula, Moss Point and Gautier, MS
Speciality: Hurricane Katrina (8/05) clean up, renewal
and restoration
Description of volunteer needs: Skilled and unskilled
volunteers needed. Sheetrock workers for finishing, ALL
trade skills. Clean up still needed, needs assessments/case
workers, kitchen and warehouse needs. A little bit of
everything.
Skills volunteers are required to have: Willing to work -
we have something for you to do. All are welcome.
Useful Skills: Sheetrock, all trade skills
Tools or supplies volunteers should bring: If there is
something specific you want to do that requires tools,
please bring them. Otherwise, tools can be supplied if
needed.
Will volunteers need to bring any money or material,
such as for housing: Bring bedrolls, toiletries, towels,
if possible. Mattresses & bunk beds are available.
Length of time volunteer can help: Any length of time is
useful
Size of volunteer team: 50 people or less, depending upon
project
Are individual volunteers welcome? Yes
Age restriction, if any: 18 and under need adult
supervision
Denomination/affiliation, if any: Church of Christ and
EVERYONE is welcome

Any other restrictions: No, but current tetanus shot is
a good idea.

church, some in other facilities

Rebuilding homes and providing household supplies. Desperately
need donations of sheetrock and shingles and also people who can
hang sheetrock.
