Mission: Among the goals of the AWL are the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, the extension of humane education and the adherence to federal, state and local statutes. It is the policy of the league to provide humane care and treatment for all animals needing protection within Kosciusko County, Indiana; to seek to return lost animals to their owners; to seek suitable homes for animals without owners; and to provide euthanasia when necessary.

Monetary donations are always needed and appreciated. Donations must be made out to AWL of Kosciusko County. We are not affiliated with the Humane Society or any other named Entity.

If you are interested in volunteering at the shelter, we welcome you stop by! Not all the jobs are easy or glamorous, but they are necessary. If you can donate any of your time, we'll be glad to put you to important work. Your efforts will make the shelter a better place for the pets, and you'll be contributing to a worthwhile community cause.
