The Econo Foods Distribution Center is Open.
They will be providing food boxes, cleaning kits and cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, drinking water, needs assessments, information and referral services, emotional and pastoral care support, among other things.
Donations for NEW goods are being accepted from 9am-6pm at the Econo Foods at 1800 51st Street NE. 319-294-2207. ONLY the following items will be accepted
Cleaning Supplies: Bleach, Large Heavy Duty Garbage Bags, Vinegar, Rubber & Work Gloves, Mops/Brooms., Squeegees, Cleaning Products, Paper Towels, Buckets, Rags
Hygiene/Personal Care Items: Toilet Paper, Shampoo, Deodorant, toothpaste, Tooth Brush, Disinfecting Wipes, Hand Sanitizer, Feminine Hygiene Products, Bug Spray Sunscreen.
Nonperishable Food Items, Disposable Kitchenware, Any size Resalable Bags, Diapers/Wipes, Storage Totes/Laundry Baskets, Fans & Dehumidifiers, Socks, Underwear – All Sizes, Adult Work Boots
The following items WILL NOT be accepted or distributed from this location: Clothing, Furniture, Appliances, Household Goods, Used items of ANY KIND
