Notes

Warehouse status: Worldvision supplying those that are alreay on their "partner list". To be a partner, contact them. Other warehouses NOT supplying shelters til Gustav hits.

Terra's public opinion: "That's insane. We've GOT to supply the shelters even before the storm, or next time people won't GO to the shelters, and churches won't BE shelters. Then it will be a worse disaster, unless McDonald's is going to plan to feed 20 thousand more people than they usually do each day". Terra Friedrichs, Citizen Action Team
We'll continue to look for supplies for these small sites. It's our responsibility as a nation. TF

Louisiana:

Franklin Parish: Terra focusing in EMA contact and finding supplies
Tensas Parish: DONE. Kim and Terra. Small pops, no disaster response activity found.

Caldwell Parish: DONE. Kim and Terra. Small pops, no disaster response activity found.

Grant Parish: Leslie - Follow up 8/31 with EMA - Will know later if any new shelters will open up. They have no supplies and were told by FEMA nothing will come until "post Gustav" / Followed my instinct - called Hope Well Baptist Church in Colfax - Grant Parish - There ARE shelters opening up and Lee Arthur will call me back with details!

Vernon: Per a Pentecostal Church in Leesville, the only shelter open in this parish is a a high school in Pickering run by RC

LOUISIANA SHELTERS: Leslie - All Gustav shelters have been updated through media reports and status change as was applicable 4:15 CST
