If you're in Warren County, you can take your pet to the Vicksburg Warren Humane Society. They're already housing dogs, cats, even chickens and goats that need a safe place to ride out the flood. "We're able to house them temporarily until the flood recedes, no charge for the people who bring them in," says Kenny Moore, livestock manager. "We'll take any donations, food, treats, cat litter."
Call your local humane society if you're looking for a place to house your pets.
