Mission
The mission of Options for Independence is to assist people to live and work in the community of their choice. We serve children and adults with disabilities to include people with developmental disabilities, serious mental illness or emotional disturbance, homelessness, chronic unemployment, physical disabilities, alcohol and substance abuse challenges and people affected by disasters.

Options For Independence: Welcomes You

Options for Independence is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit human services agency. We seek to design and provide a variety of services and supports to people.

We strive to provide programs which bring together the resources of the individual, their families, and community members to achieve quality personal outcomes. We assist people to identify and achieve meaningful life changes and to develop sustaining relationships in the community of their choice.

SERVICES OFFERED:
We provide service coordination, counseling, life skills training, employment services, substance abuse prevention and treatment, disaster recovery services, emergency food, shelter and outreach through service contracts with
state and federal agencies. We provide the services directly to individuals and families and connect them to community resources as needed.
