Per call to Eugene Naquin the current urgent needs are:
50-60 pallets of drinking water (they had 3 cases left this morning - 9/10)
300-400 Flood Buckets
300-400 Clean Up Kits/Buckets
600 units - Unscented Bleach
600 units - Mops
1000 or more - Tarps
They are serving the Pointe Aux Chene & Montegut Bayou Communities, distributing out of the parking lot of the American Legion Bldg.
They currently has plenty of ice/MRE's (two truckloads of ice just came in).
Big concern right now is roads are already flooded in the Island Road and Oak Pointe area's and with Ike coming (outer bands) it's going to get worst. This location is still accessible to delivery trucks whatever the weather brings.
