Missing Person Flyers for those Effected by Hurricane Ike

The Laura Recovery Center offers a way for those with missing family and friends as a result of Hurricane Ike to quickly create a missing person flyer online.

From any computer simply access:
http://www.LRCF.org

and follow the “CREATE FLYER” link at the top of the page.

The flyer creation process will prompt the user to upload a picture of the missing person and fill in any available information about them. Once completed, the flyer can be downloaded, printed, and distributed.

Flyers have been proven to be among the most effective ways of locating missing persons.

The Laura Recovery Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in Laura
Smither's memory. The Center focuses on Education, Search, and Prevention in the area of
missing children, has offered free abduction prevention programs to over 160,000 children
throughout the greater Houston area, worked with over 1,300 families with missing loved ones,
and has organized over 80 community searches for abducted children nationwide. The Center
trains law enforcement at the Houston Police Department training academy and distributes
educational materials and child ID kits.
