Notes

Description:

A non-profit corporation chartered by the State of Mississippi
in 1969, for the prevention of cruelty to animals. Our primary
funding is through donations and gifts. We are not a federal,
state or government agency. We operate the largest full service
Humane Society in Central Mississippi serving a seven county area.
Taking in over 14,000 animals annually we provide a positive link
between people and animals. Our future includes the building of a
new state of the art, Animal Welfare Center, that will allow us
to expand on our services to animals and people in our communities.
All creatures great and small are welcome at MARL.
