Notes
FROM THE WEBSITE:
Hurricane Ike recovery operations are wrapping upWe have cleaned and sanitized 237 homes, as of January 15 2009!! The 237 houses cleaned and sanitized equal about $1.1 Million plus our estimate of $400,000 in tree and debris clean-up (est. 400 trees and/or yards cleaned up) means area homeowners have saved $1.5 million in contractor fees. Thanks to all of the hard work in Galveston the past few weeks, we really increased our total number!
CORE will begin the process of shutting down base camp, targeting the end of February. Disaster relief efforts will continue through other organizations. Please continue to call our hot line (877-684-2673), for additional information.
Church has left the Building! The next annual gathering is March 15th, 2009. More details coming soon!
