Notes
9/4/09: Confirmed they are only taking horses, donkeys & mules.
======================================================================
Pierce College can take up to 200 horses. Some reports say they only take horses, but I saw a news broadcast on 8/30/09 and they had a few llamas, sheep, goats, etc. I think they prefer to take horses though.
Citizen Action Team has been instrumental in supporting County Animal Services in coordinating horse trailer transport as their resources have been stretched thin due to the wide scope of this Wildfire.
The SPCA has also kicked in with equipment and is assisting with horse transport at this time.
Hansen Dam is the 'layover' stop for horses/livestock being transported ultimately to Pierce College.
