The L.A. County Department of Mental Health will help those affected by the Station Fire with six free clinics. A representative explained that they will be guided on how to get back on their feet and talk to their children about what happened. More information is available about these sessions by calling 1-800-854-7771.

The first six sessions are free. Thereafter fees are based on income/sliding scale.

The Los Angeles Department of Mental Health is offering free mental health crisis counseling services to victims of the Sayre Fire at two San Fernando Valley centers.

Those locations are:

San Fernando Valley Mental Health Center, 10605 Balboa Blvd., Suite 100, Granada Hills, (818) 832-2400; and

West Valley Mental Health Center, 7621 Canoga Ave., Canoga Park, (818) 598-6900.

Hours of operation for both centers are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For more information and after-hour services, contact the Department of Mental Health's ACCESS Center at (800) 854-7771. The ACCESS Center is open 24 hours a day, including holidays.
