- PACS is a private, not-for-profit service organization that addresses the needs of below poverty level families and individuals. In 2007 202,741 individuals were served by PACS programs.
PACS services include:
• Family Health Center
• Client Choice Grocery Warehouse
• Thrift Ministry
• Gift Shop
• Needs Assessment and Referral to other agencies if necessary In 2007 1,012,174 pounds of food were given out. In that same year over 317,943 household articles were distributed through our low-cost thrift stores (some items were provided free of charge to especially needy individuals), including clothing, shoes, diapers and kitchenware. PACS also provided community education programs, advocacy and referral services for housing and medical help. - Service
